HotAllMemo - Users Guide

Click a cabinet to create a folder in Cabinet list window.

Press Menu button, and touch New Folder.

Enter a title of the folder, and select an icon.

In the product edition select whether the location to store memos is the local device or Google Docs(Google Drive).
In the free edition the location is only the local device.
You can share memos on the cloud strage with other devices when you choose the Google Docs.
Enter the user id and click Next button when you choose Google Docs.

Enter the login password.

Select whether to create a new folder or to use the existing folder on Google Docs.
Enter the folder name of Google Docs when you choose to create a new folder.
Select the folder name of Google Docs when tou choose to use the existing folder.
The created or used folder exists in the "HotAllMemo" folder on Google Docs.

Press Menu button, and touch New Sheet.

In the Sheet Properties, touch Size and select a size(pixels).
If necessary, touch Date and enter it.

Zoomed editing mode Direct editing mode

In the Sheet window, there are two editing modes(Zoomed editing mode and Direct editing mode) in which you write a memo and Viewing mode in which you view it.
On creating a new sheet, Sheet window is opened in Direct editing mode.
When an existing sheet is selected, Sheet window is opened in Viewing mode.
To switch from Viewing mode to Zoomed editing mode, press Menu button, and touch Zoomed Edit.
Or long press any place on the sheet view, if Long-press to edit in the Settings is enabled.
To switch from Zoomed editing mode to Direct editing mode, press Menu button, and touch Direct Edit, or press any place on the sheet view until the vibration occurs(about three seconds).
To switch back to Viewing mode, press Back button.

In the Editing mode, Sheet windows is composed of two parts: the upper view area and the lower hand-writing pad.
Hand-writing pad zooms in a part of the content.
To edit, draw with a finger on the hand-writing pad.

To select an area to edit, long press on any place of the sheet view.

Edit area scrolls to the right automatically after drawing stops.
Autoscroll's ON or OFF and start timing can be changed in the Settings.

To scroll Editing area manually, short press on the left or right side of the view area.
Pressing on the center of the sheet view, you can move the edit area to the new line. You can change the newline type in the settings. Default type is "Off".
- Left of the line : The edit area will be moved to the left most of the next line.
- Start of the drawing : The edit area will be moved to the left most drawing position of the next line. If the next line is blank, the edit area will be moved to where its horizontal position is left most drawing position of the previous line on the next line. If the previous line is also blank, it will be moved to the left most of the next line.
- Most recent long-press : The edit area wll be moved to the place where its horizontal position is the most recent long-press on the next line.

The drawing tools are Pen、Marker and Eraser.
To select drawing tools, press Menu button, and touch a tool. When you enter Editing mode, Pen is selected as default.
After touching a tool, select setings of the tool.
On the top right of the window, icons indicate the current selection: color, size and tool type.

You can choose recent used tools by long pressing Menu button in editing mode.
In the Recent Tools window, you can fix a tool in the upper position of the list by tuching the pin icon.

To undo editing, tilt the phone forward and back as above figure or press Menu button, and touch Undo.
In Zoomed editing mode, Undo reverses actions that you did after editing area moved.
In Direct editing mode, Undo reverses a previous stroke.
You can repeat Undo until saving as much as memory will allow.

You can copy a part of a sheet and past it on a sheet.

View a sheet you want to copy, press Menu button, touch Image Clip, and touch Copy in the direct editing mode.
Drag a rectangle area to copy the image.
In the copy confirmation window, touch Yes button. Then the image data has been stored in the HotAllMemo's image clip.
View a sheet to past an image, press Menu button, touch Image Clip, and touch Past in the direct editing mode.
In the past confirmation window, touch Yes button.
Drag a rectangle area to past the image.

You can pick an image from gallery and past it on a sheet.

Press Menu button, touch Image Clip, and touch Copy in the direct editing mode.
Select an image from gallery. (Depends on application)
In the past confirmation window you can rotate the image to touch the center of the image and crop the image to drag any sides of the image.
Drag a rectangle area to past the image.

You can receive an image data(Type:JPEG, PNG, GIF) from other application.(Depends on application)

On a sender application, select an image data and touch the share button. (Depends on application)

Select HotAllMemo in the application list.

Then an image data has been stored in the HotAllMemo's image clip. In Direct editing mode you can past it on a sheet.
In the launch confirmation window, touch Yes button if you want to launch HotAllMemo now, or touch No button if you want to return the sender application.
View a sheet to past an image, press Menu button, touch Image Clip, and touch Past in the direct editing mode.
In the past confirmation window you can rotate the image to touch the center of the image and crop the image to drag any sides of the image.
Drag a rectangle area to past the image.

On multi-touch supported devices, the pinch-to-zoom is available in the view area.

On the view area in the view mode and the zoomed / direct editing mode, the pinch-to-zoom is available.
Touch by two fingers, then zoom in to pinch or zoom out to unpinch.
Touch by two fingers, then scroll the view to drag it.
Double tap by two fingers to reset to the default size.

You can delete a sheet each way as follows.

In Sheet list window, long press the item, and touch Delete.
In Sheet window of the Viewing mode, press Menu button, and touch Delete.

You can move or copy a sheet to other folder each way as follows.

In Sheet list window, long press the item, and touch Move/Copy to other folder.
In Sheet window of the Viewing mode, press Menu button, and touch To other folder.

You can send sheet data to other application. (Depends on application) For example, you can attach a memo to e-mail and send it, or you can show a memo on WEB photo gallery.

In Sheet window of the Viewing mode, press Menu button, and touch Share.
Select a target application.

You can past a shortcut which call a folder list, a sheet list or create a new memo on the home screen.
Operation of pasting a shortcut depends on android version or home application.

View a shorcut list, and select one of the follows three shortcut.

Select "Memo cabinet", and select a cabinet.
Select "Memo folder", and select a cabinet and folder.
Select "New memo", and select a cabinet, a folder and sheet size.

You can past a widget which veiw recent memo's headlines. Its view is scrollable with Android 3.0 later. Touch the top-left icon to open the sheet list. Touch the top-right icon to create a new memo. Operation of pasting a widget depends on the android version and the home application.

Select "HotAllMemo" on the widget list.

Cabinet list, Folder list, Sheet size list are appeared by turns. Select a item as you want.

You can change the size of the pasted widget with Android 4.0 later .

You can change the setteing for widget in the Sheet list setting. These settings are applied to all widget.

"Widget update interval" is the interval about updating widget with memos on the device or the google document. You can update manually by touching the folder title.
"Hi-Resolution widget" is to change the resolution of the memo headlines on the widget for the Hi-Resolution devices.
"Widget lines adjust" is to change the number of the memo headlines on the widget for the previous version than android3.0. As the widget is fixed size, there is the case that cannot view all lines.

In Sheet or Folder window, press Menu button, and touch Settings.

Long-pressing on any place of the sheet view switches from Viewing mode to Editing mode.

Pressing on the center of the sheet view move the edit area to newline.

Left of the line : The edit area will be moved to the left most of the next line.
Start of the drawing : The edit area will be moved to the left most drawing position of the next line. If the next line is blank, the edit area will be moved to where its horizontal position is left most drawing position of the previous line on the next line. If the previous line is also blank, it will be moved to the left most of the next line.
Most recent long-press : The edit area wll be moved to the place where its horizontal position is the most recent long-press on the next line.
